The norwegian tenor Kristian Krokslett is referred to as a versatile singer and has in recent years sung different roles at most opera scenes throughout Norway. He has participated in a numerous contemporary operas, and also in some of the classic operas such as Verdi´s Un Giorno di Regno, Puccini´s Tosca and Bizet´s Carmen. Recent roles includes Monostatos in Mozart´s Die Zauberflöte, Canio in Leoncavallo´s Pagliacci, Turiddu in Mascagni´s Cavalleria Rusticana and Spoletta in Puccini´s Tosca.
His church music repertoire includes Mozart’s Requiem, Verdi´s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah and Rossini’s Petite Messe Sollenelle, to mention a few. He has been a soloist with norwegian orchestras like Bodoe Sinfonietta, the MiN-ensemble and TrondheimSolistene.
